GovConnect Solutions is a woman-owned small business that specializes in helping other businesses with all aspects of government contracting. GovConnect was started by prior contracting officers and specialists who saw that some really great companies were being passed up for contract awards.

In many cases their proposals were simply not complaint with the solicitation. They were able to provide unique and innovative strategies but struggled to convey why they were the best choice to help solve the government’s problem.

We also found that many small businesses who were able to secure a government contract had little to no in-house contract support. This made is difficult for the company to understand the terms and conditions it had signed up to when they were awarded the contract. This lead to delays in coming through modifications, receiving payments late in turn hurting their cash flow, not filing protests timely, and countless other unnecessary struggles.

We know that government contracting can be intimidating to people who don’t live it on a daily basis and that’s why GovConnect was started; to help small businesses have access to government contract professionals and help them with their government contracting needs, from beginning to end.
